In the first Spiderman film we see Peter's transformation.

Then, after the murder of his Uncle, Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) uses his alter ego Spiderman to avenge himself on the criminal underworld responsible for his Uncle's death. Peter Parker must fight against the corrupted Dr. Octopus, try to win the heart of Mary Jane Watson and keep his alternate identity secret. Meanwhile Harry Osborn has visions of his dead father and discovers some truths about his father's life.

In the 3rd and final Spiderman to date Harry Osborne seeks to revenge his Father's death after discovering his secret lair. Meanwhile a prison escapee called Flint Marco( Thomas Haden Church) falls foul of a particle accelerator and is transformed into a literal sand-man.

An alien entity combines itself with Spiderman and makes him realise that there is a dark side in everyone, eventually it moves on and bonds instead with Eddie Brock JR. another photographer and Spiderman's newest nemesis.

Peter must rise to the challenge and meet both of his new adversaries whilst continuing to keep his two lives separate. Peter makes some discoveries about Flint Marco's previous crimes and must confront his own human emotions.
